Maria was born and raised in La Canada, and is a lifetime resident of the Foothill Community. She attended the local schools: Flintridge Sacred Heart High School and Loyola Marymount College, as well as Loyola in Rome, Italy and De Paul University in Chicago, where she finished her graduate studies. Maria and her husband have been happily married for 28 years and are currently raising their three daughters here. She feels that there is no better place to raise a family.
